A free demo for Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth's spin-off, Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii, launches today! Available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam at 7am Pacific / 10am Eastern / 3pm UK time.

The demo, announced via X/Twitter, offers a taste of the full game's freeroam and combat, but progress won't carry over. Players can explore parts of Honolulu and Madlantis (areas not accessible early in the main game), switch between Mad Dog and Sea Dog fighting styles, battle powerful enemies, participate in ship and deck battles, experiment with customization options, and even enjoy karaoke.

Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii, launching February 21st (PS4 and Xbox One versions without a demo), follows amnesiac Goro Majima's pirate adventures in Hawaii. The October Xbox Partner Showcase trailer showcased ship combat reminiscent of Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag and the return of Taiga Saejima, hinting at deeper connections to the main series.

Expect a longer experience than Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name, with a playtime estimated at 15-18 hours. A Kiryu Kazuma costume is available for players who sign up for email notifications or a Sega rewards program.
