Google Play Awards 2024: Eggy Party Wins Big!

Tencent's Eggy Party has triumphed at the Google Play Awards 2024, snagging the coveted "Best Pick Up & Play" award across numerous regions, including Europe, the United States, the Middle East, and North Africa. This win follows another success for the smaller indie title, Dadoo.

Eggy Party, a multiplayer battle royale featuring frantic obstacle courses and minigames, has clearly resonated with players. While drawing inspiration from similar titles like Fall Guys and Stumble Guys, Eggy Party's polished gameplay and Tencent's backing have helped it stand out, particularly in the mobile gaming space.

This "Best Pick Up & Play" accolade highlights Eggy Party's remarkable accessibility, a significant achievement for a multiplayer game. Although no in-game celebratory events have been announced (yet), fans are undoubtedly thrilled with this recognition.

A Notable Victory

Eggy Party's dominance in its category is noteworthy, especially considering the success of other award recipients like Dadoo. While clearly inspired by existing obstacle-course battle royales, Eggy Party successfully incorporates unique elements, captivating players worldwide.
