Elliot Page Stars in Beyond: Two Souls TV Series
Elliot Page, the original star of PlayStation and Quantic Dream's story-driven adventure game Beyond: Two Souls, is set to bring the game to life in a new TV series through his production company, Pageboy Productions. According to Deadline, Pageboy has secured the rights from Quantic Dream to adapt the game into a television format. The project is still in its early stages, but the team aims to maintain the game's signature non-linear narrative. Details such as casting and release dates are yet to be announced.
Reflecting on his experience, Page described filming Beyond: Two Souls as "one of the most challenging and fulfilling acting experiences" of his career. He expressed enthusiasm about the project, stating, "The story’s rich narrative and emotional depth offer us a fantastic foundation. We want to create a unique vision of the characters and their journeys that resonates with fans and newcomers."

Matt Jordan Smitt, head of development and production at Pageboy, shared insights into the team's approach, emphasizing their intent to "honor the game’s legacy while inviting fresh perspectives." He highlighted the importance of exploring themes of survival and the impact of split-second decisions on multiple lives as central to the narrative.
Originally released for the PlayStation 3 in 2013, Beyond: Two Souls later became available on PlayStation 4 and PC in 2015 and 2019, respectively. Directed and written by Quantic Dream's David Cage, the game follows Jodie Holmes, a young woman with psychic abilities who communicates with a spirit named Aiden. The game's non-linear storytelling and the involvement of high-profile actors like Page and Willem Dafoe contributed to its acclaim.
David Cage expressed excitement about collaborating with Page on the TV adaptation, though the specifics of his involvement remain undisclosed. "We are absolutely thrilled to collaborate again with Elliot Page on this project," Cage stated. "I was blown away by his acting performance in the game, and I couldn’t think of anyone else to tell this story with the same passion on another medium. Beyond: Two Souls is a very special game for millions of players around the world who were moved by the story of Jodie and Aiden, and their journey in life and beyond. I know that Elliot has all the talent and instinct to make it something really unique on TV."
