Netflix has officially greenlit 'Enola Holmes 3', confirming that Millie Bobby Brown, Henry Cavill, and other key cast members from the popular detective films are reuniting for the next installment.

In a company blog post, Netflix revealed the returning cast, led by Millie Bobby Brown as the eponymous sleuth and Henry Cavill as her renowned brother, Sherlock Holmes. The third film shifts the action to Malta, where Enola takes on a fresh, intriguing case. An official release date remains to be announced.

Even on a holiday, Enola Holmes can't escape mystery, and you're invited to join the adventure. That's correct: Millie Bobby Brown returns as Sherlock Holmes' equally sharp-witted younger sister in 'Enola Holmes 3', which is now filming in the UK.

The latest chapter in the young detective's saga finds her unraveling another puzzle, this time set in the island nation of Malta. You'll have to wait to discover what draws her there—but upon arrival, Enola finds herself in a perilous web of intrigue. As the private investigator balances a new mystery with the evolving dynamics of her relationship with Tewkesbury (Louis Partridge), the game is most definitely afoot.

'Enola Holmes 3' is helmed by director Philip Barantini, known for the acclaimed single-take crime thriller 'Adolescence'. Screenwriter Jack Thorne, who penned the first two films, returns to adapt the script from Nancy Springer's 'The Enola Holmes Mysteries' book series.
