EOS Joins Battle Crush, Expanding Accessibility

Jan 18,25

NCSoft has announced the end-of-service (EOS) for its multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) game, Battle Crush. This is surprising, given the game never reached its fully polished release. Following a global test in August 2023 and an early access launch in June 2024, the game is closing its doors just months later.

Battle Crush's Shutdown Date

The official shutdown date for Battle Crush is November 29th, 2024. In-game purchases have ceased, but refunds are available for purchases made between June 27th, 2024, and October 23rd, 2024.

Android and Steam players can request refunds from December 2nd, 2024, to January 2025. Players should download any desired game content before November 28th, 2024, as access will be terminated afterward. The official website will remain online until May 30th, 2025, for any necessary support. Social media and Discord servers will close on January 31st, 2025.

Unexpected Closure?

The announcement is undoubtedly disappointing for players who invested time and effort into Battle Crush. While enjoyable, the game's somewhat clunky controls and pacing issues likely contributed to its premature closure. It simply lacked the polish to truly succeed.

You can still experience Battle Crush on the Google Play Store before the servers go offline. For more gaming news, check out our upcoming article on the story-driven Autumn Season quests in Black Desert Mobile.
