Epic Games Store Launches Mobile Version with 20 New Games and Free Game Offer
After months of anticipation, Epic Games has officially launched its store on mobile devices, bringing the Epic Games Store to Android users worldwide. To celebrate this milestone, Epic is offering a range of exciting rewards, free games, and more to its mobile community.
Which Games Are Available on the Mobile Epic Games Store?
Epic Games is shining a spotlight on three major titles: Fortnite, Fall Guys, and Rocket League Sideswipe. Notably, Fall Guys is now available for free on mobile through the Epic Games Store. By downloading the Epic Games Store app and any of these games on your mobile device, you can participate in in-game challenges to unlock exclusive cosmetics. These include a unique Fortnite outfit with matching back bling, pickaxe, and wrap, as well as a new Fall Guys bean costume. Additionally, you can earn a Fall Guys-themed pickaxe for Fortnite and a gold vehicle trim usable in both Fortnite and Rocket League Sideswipe. Keep in mind, these quests are exclusive to mobile players.
It’s Not Just About Their Big Three Games
The Epic Games Store on mobile isn't limited to just these three titles. Nearly 20 third-party games from various developers have also made their way to the platform. Epic has also introduced its Free Games program for mobile users. Currently, Dungeon of the Endless: Apogee is available for free on both Android and iOS via the Epic Games Store app, and this offer lasts until February 20th. Playdigious, a notable developer, has also brought two more of their games to the Epic Store: Shapez and Evoland 2. They plan to add Cultist Simulator in the coming weeks. Additionally, Bloons TD 6 is set to join the store soon. While the free games are currently offered monthly, Epic aims to transition to a weekly schedule later this year.
Despite the challenges posed by Apple and Google in downloading third-party app stores, Epic Games is making significant strides to enhance gaming accessibility for everyone. What are your thoughts on this development? Feel free to share your opinions in the comments section.
