Escape Academy is the Epic Games Store's free offering for January 16th, marking the fourth free game of 2025. With a strong OpenCritic score of 80 and an 88% recommendation rate, it's poised to be the highest-rated free game offered on the EGS so far this year.

This escape-the-room puzzle game, developed by Coin Crew Games, challenges players to train as "escape room masters" within the Academy. Originally released in July 2022 for PC and consoles, it's available for free claim on the Epic Games Store from January 16th to 23rd, replacing Turmoil.

Previously a free mystery game on EGS (January 1st, 2024), this giveaway provides a full week of access—convenient timing for those losing access to the game on Xbox Game Pass on January 15th.
