"Evil Queen Joins Disney Speedstorm Racetrack"
When it comes to tapping into the vast Disney Vaults, it's challenging to think of characters that Disney Speedstorm hasn't yet brought to the racetrack. Yet, they consistently find new characters to don a jumpsuit and hop into a kart. The latest addition to the lineup is none other than the iconic Evil Queen from Snow White!
Yes, The Evil Queen, also known as Grimhilde for trivia buffs, is set to make her grand entrance in a stylish purple jumpsuit, piloting a kart that's as ornate as her character demands. As you might expect, her abilities are deeply rooted in her iconic portrayal from the classic film.
As a member of the Trickster class, The Evil Queen excels in thwarting her competitors. Her regular ability involves handing out a Poison Apple to the first racer she touches, which significantly slows them down. Her charged ability, on the other hand, calls upon the Magic Mirror to drastically reduce the speed of the leading racer.
*Insert evil laugh here* Disney Speedstorm has never shied away from bringing unique characters from Disney's rich history to the game, and it's surprising it took this long to introduce the ultimate villainess herself. Grimhilde's abilities are sure to pose a significant challenge to other racers on the track.
To celebrate her inclusion, a new limited-time event will allow players to collect Evil Queen shards while competing on the course. So, keep your focus sharp as you navigate the twists and turns!
