Explore Eldgear: A Magical Tactical RPG from KEMCO
KEMCO's latest tactical RPG, Eldgear, plunges players into the magical age of Argenia, a world brimming with conflict and ancient technology. This turn-based battle game throws you into a post-medieval setting where nations clash over powerful, unearthed artifacts.
The Eldgear Story:
Argenia, a land of numerous nations, is experiencing a volatile transition into a magical era. The discovery of ancient ruins containing potent magical technology sparks intense competition and a devastating war. Although the conflict subsides, the threat of renewed fighting remains.
Eldia, a global task force, takes center stage. Their mission: to prevent these ancient weapons and machines from igniting another catastrophic war. They meticulously research, monitor, and control access to the dangerous ruins.
Gameplay Mechanics:
Eldgear boasts a strategic turn-based combat system enhanced by unique mechanics. The EMA (Embedding Abilities) system allows you to equip three abilities per unit, offering flexibility in combat strategies. Combine stat boosts with abilities like Stealth or bodyguard functions.
The EXA (Expanding Abilities) system unleashes devastating attacks when your Tension meter fills during battle.
Powerful and mysterious GEAR machines add another layer of depth to the gameplay, acting as both guardians and formidable threats.
Worth a Look?
Eldgear is available now on the Google Play Store for $7.99, supporting both English and Japanese. Currently, controller support is absent, requiring touchscreen controls. Check out other gaming news on Pocket Necromancer!
