Explore Spider-Woman's Origins in New Marvel Contest of Champions Update
Marvel Contest of Champions (MCOC) is set to bring a wave of thrilling updates and new content in April, featuring the much-anticipated addition of Spider-Woman. Jessica Drew, better known as Spider-Woman, has a compelling origin story. As a child, she was exposed to uranium, which led to severe illness. Her father, a brilliant geneticist, attempted to save her by injecting her with a unique blend of spider DNA. After a long recovery, Jessica not only overcame the negative effects of the experiment but also gained extraordinary spider-like abilities, ultimately becoming Spider-Woman. Players can look forward to adding her to their roster starting April 17th.
Before Spider-Woman's arrival, MCOC will introduce another intriguing champion, Lumatrix, on April 9th. Designed by the enigmatic Founders, Lumatrix is a formidable assassin known for his lethal light-based powers, making him a perfect infiltrator and eliminator in the game.
What Else Is New?
On the narrative front, Act 9 Chapter 2, titled "Inquisition," unfolds with intense developments. Carina faces severe injuries after an encounter with Ouroborus forces, while Doctor Doom collaborates with the Fantastic Four to combat the spreading corruption of the Chronoserpent. A new villain, Lotan, also enters the fray, adding another layer of complexity to the storyline.
A new Event Quest, "Spy Games," will commence on April 9th and continue until May 7th. Black Widow leads the charge in uncovering the mysteries surrounding the Eidols, enlisting the help of Spider-Woman to unravel the secrets.
The iconic Dark Phoenix returns in the Side Quest titled "Dark Bounties." Players must track down various champions targeted by her bounty to earn exciting rewards.
The "Incursions: Dark Phoenix Saga Sector" also makes a comeback, challenging players to assemble their most powerful Saga champions to battle through and secure valuable rewards like Dark Plumes, Light Essence, Tier 7 Basic Fragments, and 7-Star Class Signature Stones.
Beyond these major updates, don't miss out on the "Heart of Fire Sale" and other exciting events in MCOC. Download the game from the Google Play Store to dive into all the action and adventure awaiting you.
