Fantasian Neo Dimension: Unlocking the Power of the Tachyon Medal

Fantasian Neo Dimension plunges players into a breathtaking world where Leo and his companions confront Jas's devastating "Zero" plan, a threat capable of obliterating all existence. The game's captivating story and unique mechanics create an immersive experience as the stakes escalate.

The Tachyon Medal is a crucial late-game item integral to a challenging, extended side quest. Obtaining it is just the first step; its true purpose unfolds later. Let's explore how to acquire and utilize this powerful artifact.

Locating the Tachyon Medal

The Tachyon Medal's existence is first hinted at in Shangri-La, emerging as the final item acquired before the climactic final boss battle. To secure it, advance through the main storyline until you reach Sanctum, nestled within the God Realm, accessible via the Communication Network. Within the Mirror of Order, you'll face God's Predator, a formidable but conquerable boss. Be prepared for its frequent summoning of allies and its devastating "Consume" attack, which drains 90% of your health. Having Kina ready to heal is essential. Equipping Petrification Null gear significantly simplifies the encounter.

Leo's Fire Samidare +2 proves highly effective against summoned foes. Consider including Cherryl, whose "Concentrate" and "Charge" abilities unleash devastating damage.

After defeating God's Predator, proceed to the Laboratory via the Balcony. Amidst the shattered debris to your right, you'll discover a chest containing the coveted Tachyon Medal.

Utilizing the Tachyon Medal

Activating the Tachyon Medal requires completing two key tasks. First, reach the Altar in Shangri-La. Second, conquer the Cinderella Tri-Stars side quest. These elusive stars appear across eight locations, with the initial two encountered during the main storyline:

  1. En New District
  2. Midi Toy Box - Secret Room
  3. Royal Capital - Main Street
  4. Frozen Tundra - Center
  5. Hidden Valley – Duet Path
  6. Ancient Hill – River
  7. Nameless Island – Depths
  8. Shangri-La – Fallen City

Defeat these bosses in the prescribed order. After the final encounter in Shangri-La, you can access three chests beneath the Altar. One holds the Holy Belt, granting All Ailment Null.

Once all chests are opened, a glowing door will appear, prompting you to use the Tachyon Medal to rewind time. Possessing the Medal initiates NG+ from this point, preserving your levels, items, and equipment. While enemies gain increased strength and health, this shouldn't pose significant difficulty, particularly if all side quests are completed beforehand. Using the Tachyon Medal also unlocks the Time Reverse Trophy/Achievement, allowing you to restart your quest to save the Human Realm.
