How to Get Figmental Weapon Coffers in FFXIV
Unlocking the Adorable Figmental Weapons in FFXIV Patch 7.1
Patch 7.1 of Final Fantasy XIV introduces a charming new weapon acquisition challenge: Figmental Weapon Coffers. These coffers hold unique, cosmetic weapons, but obtaining them requires a significant undertaking. This guide outlines the process.
Acquiring Figmental Weapon Coffers
Figmental Weapon Coffers are exclusively found within the Cenote Ja Ja Gural treasure dungeon. Access requires:
-
Timeworn Br’aaxskin Map: These maps are a rare drop from gathering nodes in the Dawntrail zones. Reaching level 100 in any gathering class is necessary for access to these nodes. Alternatively, purchasing maps from other players or the marketboard is possible, albeit expensive.
-
Deciphering the Map: Deciphering a Timeworn Br’aaxskin Map has a chance to spawn the Cenote Ja Ja Gural dungeon portal. This is not guaranteed.
-
Dungeon Completion: Cenote Ja Ja Gural is a challenging dungeon best tackled with a party. Solo completion is highly improbable. Success depends on navigating various encounters and mini-games, some of which involve elements of chance (e.g., choosing the correct path).
The low drop rate of the coffers, combined with the difficulty and luck-based elements of map acquisition and dungeon progression, makes obtaining them a considerable time investment.
Potential Weapon Rewards
Each Figmental Weapon Coffer contains a weapon specific to the job currently equipped. The complete list of potential rewards is as follows:
