FragPunk Console Release Postponed: Technical Glitches
Bad Guitar, the creative force behind the eagerly awaited hero shooter FragPunk, has announced a delay for the game's release on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S due to unforeseen "technical issues." Originally slated for a unified launch across all platforms on March 6, the studio has now confirmed that only the PC version will meet this deadline. Console players, unfortunately, will have to wait a bit longer, as a new release date for these versions has yet to be determined. Bad Guitar has promised to keep the community informed about any developments regarding the console launch.
In a gesture of goodwill, Bad Guitar is offering compensation to those who pre-ordered the console versions of FragPunk. Players can opt for a refund or choose to receive in-game credits and rewards from the first season, which will be available upon the eventual release of the console editions.
On a brighter note, the PC community can still mark their calendars for March 6, as the launch of FragPunk on this platform remains unaffected by the delay. Fans of the hero shooter genre on PC can look forward to diving into the action right on schedule.
