How To Get the Free Dogwood Village Bow Early in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2
Secure an Early Advantage in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2: Acquiring the Dogwood Village Bow
Early in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, resources are scarce. This guide shows you how to obtain the Dogwood Village Bow early and without spending a single groat.
After parting ways with Hans, your path to the wedding involves either assisting a blacksmith or miller. Regardless of your chosen profession, the blacksmith's location conveniently marks the bow's whereabouts on your map. Even if you opt for the miller's path, locating this free bow is a worthwhile detour.
The blacksmith's forge is situated in Tachov, north of Troskowitz. From Troskowitz, follow the westward road, then continue northwards. At the fork where a smaller road branches west, turn right towards a cluster of trees. This seemingly unremarkable area conceals a small training ground.
Within this grove, you'll find a target riddled with arrows—free ammunition! To the right of the target, leaning against a tree, rests the Dogwood Village Bow. Help yourself to the nearby brew and mushrooms as well.
Alternative Acquisition:
While purchasable from Huntsman's Son Vitek in Tachov, buying the Dogwood Village Bow is less economical than securing the free one. Vitek offers superior weapons, but the free bow provides a valuable ranged combat option early on.
Regardless of your chosen method, having a ranged weapon significantly enhances combat, especially given the game's difficulty settings. Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2's combat retains similarities to its predecessor, making ranged options a strategic advantage for many players.
After acquiring the bow, you can resume the blacksmith quest (remember to save after forging a sword), or continue with the miller's storyline.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is currently available on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC.
