Freedom Wars Remastered: Where To Get More Combat Items
Quick Links
Freedom Wars Remastered offers diverse loadout options for operations. While weapons and Thrones are less frequently changed, Combat Items—consumable resources with varied uses—require strategic management. You'll occasionally receive Combat Items as operation rewards, but this isn't a reliable way to stockpile them, especially early in the game when you're limited to equipping only one at a time. Let's address both these issues.
How To Equip More Combat Items In Freedom Wars Remastered
To equip multiple Combat Items, you need the right Entitlements. In your cell, access the Window On Liberty and select "Claim Entitlements." Navigate to the Equipment section, then switch to the right tab to find the One-Item Permit. Each subsequent permit allows you to equip more Combat Items, up to a maximum of four.
These permits become available quickly through story progression, all obtainable by CODE level 3. Permits unlock sequentially; you'll only see the next permit after purchasing the previous one. Equipping a Combat Item uses the entire stack, so equipping a Frag Grenade, for example, will consume all your currently held grenades at the operation's start.
Your Accessory can also equip a single Combat Item, used at your discretion.
Where To Get More Combat Items In Freedom Wars Remastered
After progressing past the initial missions, you'll gain access to The Warren hub. Here, you'll find Zakka's store on the upper level. In addition to weapons, Zakka sells Munitions and Medical Supplies.
- Munitions: Items that directly damage enemies.
- Medical Supplies: Items that heal, cure status ailments, or replenish ammunition.
Combat Items are purchased individually, and bulk purchases can be expensive in Entitlement Points. Donating excess resources is only advisable if you require a large number of Medkits. While Operations sometimes reward Combat Items, this isn't a consistent or efficient farming method due to the time investment and the possibility of consuming more than you gain.
