"Freedom Wars Remastered: Guide to Obtaining and Using Flare Knife"
Quick Links
In the gripping world of Freedom Wars Remastered, players often find themselves navigating the intricate corridors of holding cells and The Warren within the Panopticon. However, the real challenge lies in confronting the colossal Abductors. These formidable adversaries demand that players leverage every available resource to emerge victorious.
Freedom Wars Remastered equips Sinners with an extensive array of weapons and tools, each designed to provide a strategic advantage in these high-intensity battles. Among these, the Flare Knife stands out as a crucial asset for tackling the toughest foes. Below, we delve into how players can obtain the Flare Knife and master its use against Abductors in Freedom Wars Remastered.
How To Get Flare Knife In Freedom Wars Remastered
Acquiring the Flare Knife is a straightforward process that players can undertake early in their journey. Once you achieve Level 003 Code Clearance, make your way to Zakka in The Warren. Zakka is your go-to spot for a variety of weapons and combat items, including the Flare Knife, which you can purchase for 3,000 Entitlement Points.
To equip the Flare Knife, navigate to the Loadout menu within the Personal Responsibility Portal. Here, select an available slot under Combat Items. If you have a Flare Knife in your inventory, it will be listed, ready for you to equip and bring into your next battle.
How To Use Flare Knife In Freedom Wars Remastered
The Flare Knife is described as a reusable combat tool specifically designed for severing Abductor parts. This feature is particularly beneficial for players who favor Polearms or Heavy Melee weapons, as it allows them to sever limbs without switching to Light Melee weapons. However, keep in mind that the Flare Knife is a one-time-use item per operation, necessitating the purchase of a new one for subsequent missions.
To effectively use the Flare Knife, lock onto the severable part of the Abductor and use your Thorn to pull yourself towards it. With the Flare Knife equipped in your active slot, you'll have the option to initiate the severing process. This action triggers a quick-time event (QTE) where you must rapidly press a designated button to deplete a bar. Successfully completing this will sever the targeted part. Be vigilant, as the Abductor may attempt to disrupt your efforts by leaping or crashing into walls.
When playing online with friends, coordinating to repeatedly snare the Abductor can significantly simplify the severing process, enhancing your team's effectiveness in battle.
