Genshin Impact 5.5 "Day of the Flame's Return" Launches with New Challenges
Get ready, Genshin Impact fans! The much-anticipated Version 5.5 update, dubbed "Day of the Flame's Return," is set to launch on March 26th, promising to intensify the adventures in Natlan. This update isn't just about advancing the story—it's set to bring a wave of exciting new features and enhancements to the gameplay experience.
One of the highlights of this update is the long-awaited addition of controller support for Android users. This feature will finally allow players to enjoy a more console-like gaming experience on their mobile devices. For more detailed information on which controllers will be supported, you can dive into the specifics here.
What Does Genshin Impact Version 5.5 Have in Store?
As you venture deeper into the southwestern part of Natlan, you'll encounter a new tribe, a towering volcano, and a roster of fresh characters. The Great Volcano of Tollan, shrouded in mystery, holds ancient secrets and a dormant sacred city that awaits exploration. With the magma stirring beneath, your mission will be to unravel the enigma of the "Flamelord's Blessing" and the mysterious Little One. Along this journey, you'll meet the Collective of Plenty, a tribe that values strength and fitness, integrating challenging physical tests into their daily lives.
Version 5.5 introduces two new playable characters to the game: Varesa and Iansan. Varesa, a 5-star Electro Catalyst user, brings a unique support capability by restoring Phlogiston after consuming food, enhancing your team's performance outside of combat. Iansan, a 4-star Electro Polearm wielder and one of Natlan's six heroes, blends offense with support. When a teammate triggers a Nightsoul Burst, she activates the Warming Up effect, which enables continuous healing.
In the first phase of Version 5.5's Event Wishes, you can pull for Varesa and Iansan, along with a rerun of Xianyun, followed by reruns for Xilonen and Venti. Check out all these thrilling additions in the trailer below.
The Bloomflower Trials Are Making a Comeback
In this update, you'll team up with Mavuika, Ifa, and other allies from Natlan to help a sick Saurian. A fun mini-game, "Saurian Treasure Seeker," challenges you to guide baby Saurians through obstacles to collect treasures. By participating in this event, you'll have the chance to invite Ororon to your team for free.
For those who love a good challenge, a new boss awaits—the Lava Dragon Statue, lurking in the volcanic fissures. Ready to dive into this massive update? You can grab Genshin Impact from the Google Play Store and start your adventure as soon as Version 5.5 drops.
