While Genshin Impact enthusiasts eagerly await the 5.4 update, set to release in just a week, the current version presents an unexpected opportunity to defeat bosses with massive health pools effortlessly. Surprisingly, the key to this exploit involves the Hydro Traveler, a character often overlooked due to their perceived low DPS capabilities.

The mechanics of this exploit are straightforward, even if you're not a programmer (and we won't dive into the game's internal code). The trick involves the Hydro Traveler's Elemental Burst and the Xiao Lanterns, which players can gather during the Lantern Rite Festival. Here's the magic formula: strategically place a specific number of Xiao Lanterns around a boss, then unleash the Hydro Traveler's Elemental Burst. The result? The boss's health bar plummets dramatically.

This phenomenon occurs because the Elemental Burst triggers additional Area of Effect (AoE) damage when it interacts with objects. By deploying a hundred lanterns, the damage can soar into the millions, making short work of even the toughest bosses.

While it's almost certain that this exploit will be patched in future updates, savvy players can currently enjoy a unique advantage, breezing through boss fights with minimal effort. So, if you're looking to conquer those challenging battles before the 5.4 update hits, now's your chance to leverage this unexpected strategy.
