Genshin Impact Update 5.5: New Volcano Area Added
As the UK experiences a brief respite from the cold before dipping back into near-freezing temperatures, and with spring struggling to arrive in many other places, you might be craving some warmth. Look no further than Genshin Impact's upcoming 5.5 update, set to launch on March 26th, which promises to heat things up with its "Day of the Flame's Return" theme.
The highlight of this update is the introduction of the Great Volcano of Tollan in Natlan, a region that's about to get even more exciting. Players will finally be able to explore the Sacred City of Tollan, a hidden city built by the Dragonborn, and uncover the secrets of the Flamelord's Blessing as they delve into its depths.
But that's not all the heat coming your way. The update also introduces the final tribe of Natlan, the Tribe of Plenty, along with a new Saurian creature, the Tatankasaurus. This massive beast is strong enough to shatter enormous rocks, adding a new dynamic to your adventures.
Heating up The Great Volcano of Tollan may pose dangers, but you won't have to face them alone. Two new characters join the roster in this update: Varessa, a five-star Electro Catalyst user who unleashes massive Electro damage, and Iansan, a four-star Electro Polearm wielder and one of Natlan's six heroes. Iansan not only boosts attack damage but also heals her allies, making her a valuable addition to any team.
Alongside these fiery additions, the 5.5 update brings a new seasonal event called the "Tournament of Glory in Bloom," along with Event Wishes and more, all set to debut on March 26th. So, gear up and prepare to dive back into the volcanic wonders of Natlan with Genshin Impact's version 5.5, "Day of the Flame's Return."
