Cognido: A University Project Turned Thriving Brain-Training Game

Created by university student David Schreiber, Cognido is a solo-developed, multiplayer brain-training game that's already garnered 40,000 downloads. This fast-paced game pits players against friends and strangers in quick-fire challenges ranging from simple math problems to trivia and more.

The game's success is a testament to Schreiber's talent and the enduring appeal of brain-training games. While Cognido's squid-like mascot, Nido, might not possess the same comforting charm as Dr. Kawashima, the gameplay is undeniably engaging.

Made in Germany, Free and Premium Options Available

Unlike many university projects, Cognido offers both free and premium gameplay options. A subscription unlocks the full potential of the game, but a free trial allows users to test the waters before committing.

A significant update is on the horizon, introducing a new "Clash" mode where four to six players compete in a battle of wits to be the last brain standing.
