Exciting news for fans of the Uma Musume Pretty Derby anime! Cygames has officially confirmed an English version of its popular horse-girl racing simulation game. A Japanese version already boasts excellent reviews, and now global audiences can join the fun.

What's New?

Cygames has launched an official English website, YouTube channel, and X (formerly Twitter) account to keep fans updated on the global release. For newcomers, Uma Musume Pretty Derby is part of a larger multimedia franchise, including anime and manga, that has gained a massive following.

The game, originally released in Japan and Asia in February 2021 for Android and iOS, features horse girls – racehorses reincarnated as girls – competing in the "Twinkle Series," a national sports entertainment show, to become top idols. While the global release is still pending, characters like Gold Ship have already appeared in international games like Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising, hinting at future crossovers.

When Can We Play?

The exact release date remains unannounced, but the English version will be free-to-play on Android and iOS. Check the official website for updates. In the meantime, watch the official trailer:

A playable demo of the English version will be available at Anime Expo 2024 (July 4th-7th) at the Los Angeles Convention Center. Don't miss it!
