"World of Goo 2 Launches on Mobile with Physics Puzzles"
After a long-awaited hiatus, the beloved puzzle game World of Goo is back with a thrilling sequel. 2DBOY and Tomorrow Corporation have released World of Goo 2 on mobile platforms, alongside launches on Steam, PlayStation 5, and iOS. This sequel promises an immersive experience with a host of new features and challenges that fans of the original are sure to love.
A Ton of New Stuff
World of Goo 2 Mobile introduces a plethora of new elements to the series. Players can now strive for over 30 additional achievements, adding a new layer of engagement to the gameplay. Notably, the game includes an options menu, a first for any title from 2DBOY or Tomorrow Corporation, enhancing user experience and customization.
The original World of Goo, which debuted on Windows in October 2008, captivated players with its unique mechanics of constructing bridges and towers using goo balls, all while battling the forces of physics and gravity. World of Goo 2 takes this concept further with the introduction of realistic, flowing, and splashing viscous liquid. Players can manipulate this liquid as a river, transform it into Goo Balls, extinguish fires, and solve complex puzzles.
The sequel also introduces new types of Goo, including Jelly Goo, Liquid Launchers, Growing Goo, Shrinking Goo, and Explosive Goo, among others. These diverse goo species will challenge players to experiment and understand how each type interacts and functions within the game's puzzles.
There Are a Lot of Levels to Chew Through in the World of Goo 2 Mobile
The narrative of World of Goo 2 unfolds across five chapters, offering over 60 new levels, each packed with additional challenges. The storyline spans hundreds of thousands of years, adding depth and intrigue to the game. Players will collaborate with a mysterious, eco-friendly company tasked with collecting as much Goo as possible. However, as you delve deeper, you'll uncover hidden agendas and secrets that add layers to the game's plot.
After years of anticipation, the iconic goo balls have returned. You can now grab World of Goo 2 from the Google Play Store for $9.99 and dive into this captivating puzzle adventure.
