One platform could be the original Nintendo Switch, given its past ESRB rating. However, performance issues on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S might hinder a port. The second unannounced platform strongly hints at the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2.Remember, this is based on unconfirmed information. Neither Warner Bros. Games nor Nintendo have made official announcements.
ESRB Rating and Subsequent Removal
Initially released in October 2022 for PS5, Windows, and Xbox Series X, Gotham Knights received an ESRB rating for the original Nintendo Switch, fueling speculation of a release and potential Nintendo Direct appearance. However, the game never materialized, and the ESRB rating was subsequently removed.
This past ESRB rating, combined with the recent YouTube report, reignites the possibility of a Switch 2 launch.
