In *Monster Hunter Wilds*, Sharp Fangs are a vital crafting resource that can be found early in the game, particularly in the Windward Plains. How to Get Sharp Fangs in Monster Hunter Wilds

To begin your search, embark on one of the initial optional quests such as "Beware the Chatacabra" or "The Desert is Demanding." These quests will lead you to the Windward Plains and provide a generous 50-minute time limit. Before setting out, consider preparing a meal to boost your performance.

Once in the Windward Plains, head east to Area 8, the largest area on the map, where you'll encounter various small monsters. Here, you'll focus on two key monsters that can drop Sharp Fangs:

Gaijos

Gaijos, small leviathan monsters resembling crocodiles with unique snouts, are found near or in riverbeds, often alone. Use the interactive map to locate them by scanning the purple diamonds near water sources. Gaijos are easy to defeat and guaranteed to drop 1 x Sharp Fang upon carving their carcasses. There are typically four to five Gaijos in the Windward Plains upon entering, and you can re-enter via any of the optional quests to farm more Sharp Fangs as needed.

Talioth

The Talioth, another small monster in the Windward Plains, roams in packs in Area 8 and sometimes Area 13. While they are slightly tougher than Gaijos, they can still be handled with starter weapons. Talioth carcasses may yield Sharp Fangs, though not guaranteed, along with other items like Talioth Scales. Additionally, defeating Talioths can help you complete the "The Desert is Demanding" quest, which requires you to kill 8 Talioths.
