"Guide: Recruit Kraken-Chan and Surfer Jay in Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza"
Embark on your thrilling adventure in *Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii* as Goro Majima, the daring Captain of the Goro Pirates. As you navigate the seas, your quest to build the ultimate crew leads you to recruit unique characters like Kraken-Chan and Surfer Jay. Here's your guide to bringing these valuable members into your fold.
How to Recruit Surfer Jay in Pirate Yakuza
Surfer Jay, a standout recruit, awaits you in Honolulu. His exceptional base stats make him a prime addition to your crew, but his recruitment journey requires some strategic sailing. To start, set your course for Madlantis to acquire the crucial item needed to enlist him.
Upon docking in Madlantis, head towards the tent opposite the Madlantis Golf Range, known for its entertaining mini-games. Inside, you'll find a UFO Catcher Game with a blue plush known as Kraken-Chan, which is essential for recruiting Surfer Jay. However, Kraken-Chan might not always be available. If so, approach the attendant under the tent and request a change in the game's prizes.
Winning Kraken-Chan from the claw machine can be challenging, much like real-life claw machines. Ensure you have enough in-game currency, and strategically use the claw to nudge the plush towards the prize slot. Once you've secured Kraken-Chan, sail back to Honolulu aboard the Goromaru.
Back in Honolulu, navigate to Tropical Coco in the Anaconda Shopping Center, either by cab, street surfer, or on foot. Use your mini-map to locate Surfer Jay, symbolized by a pirate member icon with a bandana and sword. You'll find him in a garage next to his surfboard. Engage in conversation with Surfer Jay to learn about his personal struggles, which Kraken-Chan can help resolve.
When prompted, present Kraken-Chan to Surfer Jay. This gesture will resolve his issues and convince him to join the Goro Pirates. While Surfer Jay's stats and perks may not be the most remarkable, recruiting him is a must for completionists looking to gather every crew member in *Pirate Yakuza*.
And that's how you successfully recruit Surfer Jay and obtain Kraken-Chan in *Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii*.
*Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii* is now available on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC.
