What Is Lord Proficiency in Marvel Rivals?
Each character in *Marvel Rivals* comes with exclusive cosmetics that you can unlock by simply playing and excelling with them. To dive into this, from the main menu, navigate to the hero gallery and select any character's Hero Profile. Here, click on the Proficiency tab to check your current proficiency level with that character, along with the rewards awaiting at each level.
Achieving higher proficiency levels requires substantial playtime with the character, alongside specific in-game achievements such as landing final hits, activating particular abilities, or dealing significant damage. There are five proficiency levels you can reach, each unlocking new cosmetic rewards:
- Agent
- Knight
- Centurion
- Captain
- Lord
As you advance through these levels, you'll unlock various cosmetic items like sprays, KO prompts, and avatars, enhancing your in-game appearance.
How to Get Lord Icons and Avatars
Lord icons and avatars become available once you achieve Lord proficiency with a character. While it might take some time, reaching this level for multiple characters in *Marvel Rivals* is achievable and rewarding.
Upon reaching Lord proficiency, you'll unlock a distinguished new avatar for your profile. These avatars are purely cosmetic, adding no gameplay advantage, but they proudly display your dedication and mastery over a specific character to other players.
That's your guide to achieving Lord proficiency in *Marvel Rivals*. For more insights and tips on the game, including details on Competitive rank reset and the meaning of SVP, be sure to check out The Escapist.
