Gully Gangs: 4v4 Street Cricket Multiplayer Now in Open Beta on Android
Playing cricket in the tight alleys of India, known as gullies, is often considered more fun and engaging than playing on traditional fields. Capturing this unique experience, the indie Indian studio 5th Ocean Studios has launched their latest cricket game, Gully Gangs: Street Cricket, into Open Beta on Android.
Not Your Typical Cricket Simulator
Gully Gangs: Street Cricket stands out with its 4v4 multiplayer format set in the bustling, narrow alleys of Indian neighborhoods. This groundbreaking game introduces the first-ever 4v4 street cricket experience, complete with rooftop catches, scooters obstructing play, and even nosy uncles scolding players for breaking windows. The fun doesn't stop there; players can also enjoy 1v1 matches, adding to the game's versatility.
The game enhances the experience with power moves and in-game voice chat, allowing players to communicate, sledge opponents, drop emojis during matches, and even employ some cunning tactics. The settings are authentic Indian neighborhoods, brimming with live action around you, from broken stumps and makeshift pitches to unpredictable bounces off uneven walls.
Customization is a key feature in Gully Gangs: Street Cricket, enabling players to create their own gang, dress them in funky outfits, and unlock various skins to make their team stand out.
Gully Gangs: Street Cricket Now in Open Beta
Currently in Open Beta, 5th Ocean Studios has ambitious plans for Gully Gangs: Street Cricket. They are set to introduce new street maps, fresh outfits, regular events, clan wars, and even an esports mode in future updates. Players can look forward to leaderboards, daily and weekly challenges, and thrilling gang vs. gang matchups.
The game is available exclusively on Android for now, but the developers are working on expanding to iOS and Steam. Full controller support and cross-platform features are also on the roadmap. If you're eager to dive into this unique cricket experience, you can download Gully Gangs: Street Cricket from the Google Play Store.
