Hearthstone's New Timeways Expansion Adds Legendary Heroes
Hearthstone’s next expansion, Across the Timeways, launches on November 4, sending players on a thrilling adventure across shifting eras. The story centers on the Bronze Dragonflight's Chromie, who uncovers a grave threat to the stability of time itself.
What is Chromie’s role in the story?
From her station at the Temporal Conflux, Chromie detects Murozond corrupting the timestream. As the fallen Lord of the Infinite Dragonflight, he twists every timeline toward a single, doomed outcome.
To avert this disaster, Chromie journeys across ages and realities, gathering eleven legendary heroes from across Warcraft history to join her cause.
Across the Timeways introduces two major new keywords. The first, Fabled, enables players to summon famous heroes from Warcraft’s past, future, and alternate realities.
Each class receives its own Fabled hero, such as Sylvanas or Gelbin. These Legendary cards also come with bonus cards that are immediately added to your deck.
The second keyword, Rewind, brings direct time manipulation to gameplay. It lets you recast spells or replay cards with random effects, offering another chance to turn the tide.
Cards like Timeway Warden can imprison a minion for an incredible 10,000 turns. Divergence, on the other hand, transforms one minion into two alternate versions.
Across the Timeways brings back Timelord Nozdormu!
The return of Timelord Nozdormu ties into the lore of the Timeways—magical corridors that bind every reality in the Warcraft cosmos. Nozdormu and his gnome ally Chromie lead the Bronze Dragonflight, the timeless guardians of these pathways.
Their greatest challenge comes from within, as Nozdormu’s own future self becomes Murozond. Driven by fear of his prophesied death, he creates the Infinite Dragonflight and seeks to remake reality into the desolate End Time.
Players can earn several promotional cards for free. Logging in now grants the Legendary Mister Clocksworth, while the Portal Vanguard and a Signature Robocaller are available through an in-game event. Download Hearthstone from the Google Play Store and dive in today!
