Become a Super Earth Truth Enforcer This Halloween!

Arriving just in time for Halloween, the Truth Enforcers Warbond delivers a significant gameplay upgrade. According to Katherine Baskin, Arrowhead Game Studios' Social Media and Community Manager, this Warbond provides a major arsenal boost.

Warbonds function similarly to battle passes, using earned Medals to unlock items. Unlike typical battle passes, these are permanent unlocks. Purchased via the Acquisitions Center on the Destroyer ship, the Truth Enforcers Warbond costs 1,000 Super Credits.

The Warbond centers on upholding the Ministry of Truth's ideals. Expect top-tier weapons and armor sets designed for enhanced combat effectiveness.

New weapons include the versatile PLAS-15 Loyalist Plasma Pistol (semi-auto or charged shots), the rapid-fire SMG-32 Reprimand submachine gun ideal for close-quarters combat, and the SG-20 Halt shotgun, switching between stun and armor-piercing rounds.

Two new armor sets—the UF-16 Inspector (light armor with cape) and the UF-50 Bloodhound (medium armor with cape)—both feature the Unflinching perk, reducing stagger from incoming damage.

Beyond armor, expect new banners, cosmetic patterns for Hellpods, exosuits, and Pelican-1, plus a new "At Ease" emote. The Dead Sprint booster lets players sprint and dive past stamina limits at the cost of health, adding a high-risk, high-reward element.

Helldivers 2's Future: Reviving the Player Base?

Despite a strong initial launch (peaking at 458,709 concurrent Steam players), Helldivers 2 has seen a player base decline, partly due to initial account linking restrictions. While the August Escalation of Freedom update boosted player numbers, the current count hovers around 40,000 on Steam. The Truth Enforcers Warbond aims to reignite interest and bring back players to the fight for Super Earth.
