While some doubt Games Workshop's willingness to participate, Arrowhead Studios head Shams Jorjani stated, "I can say that GW would love a crossover, we're big fans of [Warhammer] 40k ourselves." This statement has fueled fan hopes for a future Warhammer 40,000 themed expansion.

Helldivers 2's premium content now focuses on carefully selected collaborations, as exemplified by the Killzone partnership. The developers have confirmed that these crossovers will be infrequent, occurring only when they organically enhance the game's existing world.

The current Killzone collaboration features a community challenge tied to Galactic War, offering players the chance to earn additional Killzone-themed rewards based on overall team performance.
