Nexters' fantasy RPG, Hero Wars, surpasses 150 million lifetime installs, achieving a new milestone. This success is particularly noteworthy given the game's 2017 release date and the intense competition in the mobile gaming market. The title, which follows knight Galahad's quest to defeat the Archdemon, continues to perform well in revenue charts.

Unconventional Marketing and a Successful Collaboration

Hero Wars' unique, sometimes surreal, advertising campaigns have generated significant buzz. While this approach may alienate some, it's likely contributed to the game's popularity. A key factor in this latest milestone is arguably the game's first major collaboration with the Tomb Raider franchise. The association with a well-established and respected IP like Lara Croft likely boosted player interest and encouraged downloads.

Future Collaborations?

This successful collaboration suggests that more cross-promotional partnerships may be on the horizon for Hero Wars.
