WB Games has a delightful treat in store for all Harry Potter aficionados: starting this Thursday, Hogwarts Legacy will embrace the world of mods on PC. This exciting feature is set to be the star attraction of an upcoming patch, which will be available for download on both Steam and the Epic Games Store (EGS).

The update introduces the Hogwarts Legacy Creator Kit, an innovative toolkit designed for fans to craft new content. From designing unique dungeons and quests to customizing characters, the possibilities are endless. The renowned platform, CurseForge, will take charge of overseeing and distributing these user-generated mods. Additionally, Hogwarts Legacy will launch with a mod manager, making it easier for players to discover and install mods that pique their interest.

Right from the get-go on Thursday, players can dive into several pre-approved mods, including the thrilling Dungeon of Doom. This new addition challenges players to battle hordes of enemies and unravel hidden secrets within its depths. However, there's a small caveat to keep in mind: to access these mods, you'll need to link your game account with a WB Games account.

Alongside the modding capabilities, the patch will enhance character customization with new hairstyles and additional outfit options. The developers have given fans a sneak peek of what to expect in the trailer showcasing these mods.

In other news, the development of the second installment of the Hogwarts Legacy adventure is well underway. Warner Bros. Discovery has earmarked it as a top priority for the coming years, ensuring that fans have much more magical content to look forward to.
