Honkai: Star Rail Version 2.7: "A New Venture on the Eighth Dawn" Launches, Concluding the Penacony Chapter

Honkai: Star Rail's Version 2.7 update, titled "A New Venture on the Eighth Dawn," has arrived, bringing the Penacony chapter to a close. This update introduces new characters, events, and features before the Astral Express journeys to Amphoreus, the Eternal Land.

This major update features two new 5-star characters:

• Sunday: A 5-star Imaginary character focused on team support. His abilities significantly boost ally damage and summon damage, while his ultimate provides regeneration and further damage amplification.

• Fugue: A reimagined 5-star Fire version of Tingyun. Having survived her encounter with Phantylia, Fugue excels at shattering enemy defenses, weakening opponents and increasing squadmates' Break Effect damage.

The update also includes a limited Warp event featuring the return of popular characters Jing Yuan and Firefly. New Astral Express features enhance the in-game experience, such as the relaxing Party Car and customizable Trailblazer's quarters, accessible through the Cosmic Home Décor Guide event.

Players can also obtain additional rewards by redeeming Honkai: Star Rail codes.

Future updates are planned, including Version 3.0, which promises Relic system improvements, the continuation of the Path of Remembrance storyline, and new content like memosprites. A free 5-star character is available through the Gift of the Express event, lasting until Version 3.2.
