"Once Human: Mastering the Carnival of Doom Quest"
The Carnival of Doom is a thrilling and challenging side quest in the post-apocalyptic survival strategy game, Once Human, developed by Exptional Global. Set to launch on mobile devices on April 23rd, the game has already garnered significant interest with numerous pre-registrations for exclusive rewards. This quest, orchestrated by the mysterious clown Chuckles, tests players' wits and survival skills in a sinister game of Russian Roulette. Here's a detailed guide to help you conquer the Carnival of Doom and emerge victorious.
How to Navigate to the Carnival of Doom Quest in Once Human
Before diving into the navigation, let's review the quest details:
- Quest Name: Carnival of Doom
- Quest Type: World Task
- Recommended Level: 10
- Location: Junkyard in Broken Delta, southwest of Meyer’s Market
- Objective: Defeat Chuckles in a rigged game of Russian Roulette
Although the recommended level is 10, skilled players can tackle this quest at lower levels. Start your journey at the Junkyard POI, southwest of Meyer’s Market. Be prepared to face Rosetta soldiers; ensure your weapons are fully upgraded to handle them efficiently.
Once you initiate the quest, you'll enter a surreal, toy-like dimension controlled by Chuckles. Your main goal is to outsmart him in a rigged game of Russian Roulette. Follow these steps to succeed:
Avoid Immediate Engagement: Don't rush into the game with Chuckles; the setup is rigged against you.
Activate Spacetime Vision: Use the 'Q' key to activate your Spacetime Vision, which will reveal a cable connected to the roulette table, leading to a hidden area.
Trace the Cable: Follow the cable to a wall where you'll find another figure resembling Chuckles manipulating the game.
Request a Break: Return to Chuckles and choose the dialogue option to take a break, prompting him to unlock a door to the area behind the wall.
Confront the Deceptive Clown: Enter the unlocked door and stealthily approach the second Chuckles with a melee weapon, as firearms are disabled in this dimension. Eliminate him.
Disable the Cheating Device: After defeating the second Chuckles, interact with the Roulette Cheating Device to disable it, ensuring a fair game.
Challenge Chuckles Again: Return to the main area and accept Chuckles' challenge once more. This time, pull the trigger yourself. With the cheating mechanism disabled, you'll win the game and defeat Chuckles.
Quest Rewards
Upon successfully completing the Carnival of Doom, you'll receive the following rewards:
- Energy Link: x200
- Experience Points: x500
- Stellar Planula: x7
- Eclipse Cortex Lv. 2: x1
- Voodoo Doll Deviation: A unique item that can absorb a portion of incoming damage or redirect damage to enemies when deployed.
For an enhanced gaming experience, consider playing Once Human on a larger screen using BlueStacks on your PC or laptop, along with your keyboard and mouse.
