Indiana Jones Update 3 Next Week: Nvidia DLSS 4 Support and Key Fixes
Bethesda has announced that Indiana Jones and the Great Circle will receive Update 3 next week, sparking excitement among fans. In a tweet, Bethesda shared preliminary details about the update, which promises numerous fixes and enhancements, alongside the introduction of Nvidia DLSS 4 featuring Multi Frame Generation and DLSS Ray Reconstruction. These additions are expected to boost the game's visual and performance quality significantly.
Since its launch in early December, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle has been plagued by several game-breaking bugs. Players are eagerly anticipating that Update 3 will address these issues, especially after Bethesda's February announcement that the update would include new graphical features and options. The update is also expected to resolve problems that have hindered players from achieving 100% completion and from performing specific actions like climbing vines or squeezing through walls in the Sukhothai area. However, it remains uncertain whether all these promised fixes will be included in next week's patch.
Available on PC and Xbox Series X and S, and as a day-one release on Game Pass due to its Microsoft ownership, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle has attracted 4 million players. Developed by MachineGames, the game has received critical acclaim and won multiple awards, including three at the D.I.C.E. Awards. Fans can look forward to a PlayStation 5 version set to launch this spring.
In related news, Harrison Ford, the iconic actor behind Indiana Jones, has praised Troy Baker's portrayal of the character in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle. Speaking to The Wall Street Journal, Ford expressed his satisfaction with Baker's performance, stating, "You don’t need artificial intelligence to steal my soul. You can already do it for nickels and dimes with good ideas and talent. He did a brilliant job, and it didn’t take AI to do it." Ford's comments highlight the talent and creativity behind Baker's performance, emphasizing the human element in bringing such a beloved character to life in the gaming world.
