Konami's Yu-Gi-Oh! Early Days Collection: A Blast from the Past on Switch and Steam
Konami is celebrating Yu-Gi-Oh!'s 25th anniversary with the upcoming release of the Yu-Gi-Oh! Early Days Collection for Nintendo Switch and Steam! This nostalgic package will bring back classic Game Boy titles, updated for modern gamers.
The collection currently includes:
- Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters
- Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters II: Dark Duel Stories
- Yu-Gi-Oh! Dark Duel Stories
- Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters 4: Battle of Great Duelist
- Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters 6: Expert 2
Konami has confirmed that a total of ten classic games will eventually be included, with further titles to be announced. While these original games lacked features common in modern titles, the Early Days Collection adds significant improvements. These include online battles, save/load functionality, and enhanced online co-op for compatible games. Expect quality-of-life upgrades, customizable button layouts, and background options.
