When Does the Open Alpha Begin?
The Open Alpha Test kicks off on February 27th, 2025, and runs until March 2nd, 2025, for both console and PC players. The announcement was made during a February PlayStation State of Play event.
How to Join the Open Alpha Test
This is an open test, meaning accessibility is wide open. Starting February 27th, simply follow these steps:
- Visit your preferred digital storefront (Steam, PlayStation Store, Xbox Store, etc.).
- Search for "Splitgate 2".
- Download the Crossplay Alpha Test.
What Awaits You in the Open Alpha?
The Open Alpha will showcase the game's core crossplay functionality and introduce the thrilling new 24-player mode: Multi-Team Portal Warfare. This mode pits three teams of eight against each other on Splitgate's largest map yet. Expect to experiment with new weapons, perks, and equipment, all within the signature fast-paced Splitgate action.
