Jump King, a 2D Platformer, Soft Launches on Android with Two Expansions
Jump King, the notoriously challenging 2D platformer that initially launched on PC in 2019, has now soft-launched on Android! Developed by Nexile and published by UKIYO, this free-to-play title is currently available in select regions, including the UK, Canada, the Philippines, and Denmark, with a wider release planned soon. The game, known for its unforgiving physics and rewarding gameplay, has also included its multiple free expansions.
Jump King's Soft Launch Regions
Currently, you can experience the thrill (and frustration) of Jump King on Android in the UK, Canada, the Philippines, and Denmark. A global rollout is on the horizon, so keep an eye out for its arrival in your region.
Conquer the Jump: A Test of Skill and Patience
Jump King is all about precision. There's a captivating goal at the summit (let's just say it involves a certain "babe"), and the journey is anything but easy. No mid-air adjustments here – you charge your jump, release, and pray you land where you intended. The higher you climb, the further you fall, with each misstep sending you plummeting back down. You start with 20 hearts, losing one with each fall. Run out, and you'll either need to wait for the daily fortune wheel or consider a small in-app purchase to replenish your hearts.
Expansions Included!
Once you've conquered the main game (if you can!), prepare for even more challenges. Both expansions, New Babe+ and Ghost of the Babe, are included for free in this mobile version. New Babe+ presents a familiar yet surprisingly different world, testing your mastery of the jump. Ghost of the Babe, on the other hand, plunges you into a desolate landscape beyond Philosopher's Forest, prompting some existential questions about your entire climbing endeavor.
The cycle of leaping, falling, cursing, and trying again is the very essence of Jump King. If you're in one of the soft-launch regions, download it now from the Google Play Store and prepare for a truly unique gaming experience.
