Karrablast, Shelmet Star in Pokémon Go February 2025 Community Day
Get ready for an exciting Pokémon Go Community Day on Sunday, February 9th, from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm local time, where Karrablast and Shelmet will be the stars of the show. During this event, these Pokémon will appear more frequently in the wild, increasing your chances of encountering their Shiny versions. As with all Community Days, you can look forward to special bonuses and engaging research tasks.
By catching enough Karrablast and Shelmet during the event, you'll have the opportunity to evolve them into Escavalier and Accelgor, respectively. These evolutions will come with exclusive charged attacks: Escavalier will learn Razor Shell, boasting 35 power in Trainer Battles and 55 power in gyms and raids, while Accelgor will gain Energy Ball, delivering a solid 90 power across all battles.
Enhance your Community Day experience by purchasing the Community Day Special Research ticket for $2 or the equivalent in your local currency. This ticket grants you access to a Dual Destiny-themed Special Research story, offering exclusive encounters with Karrablast and Shelmet, set against a unique background. Additionally, you'll receive more encounters, a Premium Battle Pass, and Rare Candy XL.
Don't miss out on the free Timed Research quest available to those who log in during the event. It's your additional chance to catch Karrablast and Shelmet, with an increased chance of finding their Shiny forms. And while you're at it, don't forget to redeem those *Pokémon Go codes* for some extra rewards!
Throughout the three-hour event window, you'll enjoy triple XP and double Candy for catching Pokémon, and Trainers level 31 and up have an increased chance of receiving Candy XL. Lure Modules and Incense activated during the event will last for three hours, and you'll benefit from enhanced trading options, including one additional Special Trade and a 50% reduction in Stardust costs.
Engage with Community Day-themed Field Research tasks to earn rewards like Stardust, Great Balls, and more encounters with Karrablast and Shelmet. You may also participate in PokéStop Showcases for another fun way to get involved.
Stock up on supplies with two Community Day bundles available in the in-game shop, and don't miss the Ultra Community Day Box on the Pokémon Go Web Store, available starting February 3rd.
