Kevin Conroy's Final Role in Devil May Cry Anime Revealed by Netflix
Let the demon hunting begin! Netflix is bringing the iconic video game series *Devil May Cry* to life with a thrilling new anime adaptation, and we've just been treated to a tantalizing trailer. Adding to the excitement, the legendary late voice actor Kevin Conroy will posthumously star in this eagerly anticipated series.
Conroy, celebrated for his iconic portrayal of Bruce Wayne and Batman across numerous animated films and TV shows, will lend his voice to VP Baines, a new character introduced in the series. You can hear his distinctive voice in the opening of the trailer, adding a poignant touch to this project.
Back in July 2024, Conroy received acclaim for his posthumous performance in *Justice League: Crisis on Infinite Earths: Part 3*. It's heartening to know that fans will have another opportunity to appreciate his remarkable talent following his passing in November 2022 at the age of 66. Joining Conroy in the cast are Scout Taylor-Compton as Mary, Hoon Lee as White Rabbit, Chris Coppola as Enzo, and Johnny Yong Bosch, who voices the protagonist Dante.
According to the official synopsis from Netflix, "Sinister forces are at play to open the portal between the human and demon realms. In the middle of it all is Dante, an orphaned demon-hunter-for-hire, unaware that the fate of both worlds hangs around his neck."
