The King of Fighters AFK is now available in early access for Thailand and Canada! Fans in these regions can download the game via Google Play or the iOS App Store. Early access players are guaranteed to recruit Mature from the Orochi Clan.

Following last week's pre-registration launch, this retro RPG-style mobile game featuring iconic King of Fighters characters is finally here. NetMarble has confirmed that player progress will carry over to the full release.

King of Fighters AFK offers 5v5 battles, allowing players to build teams of their favorite fighters and create diverse formations. While it differs significantly from the original series and lacks the crossovers seen in King of Fighters Allstar (e.g., WWE), it offers a nostalgic experience with Neo-Geo Pocket-inspired sprites.

The game faces stiff competition for the attention of established fans. However, the guaranteed addition of Mature to early access players' rosters may attract some. Whether it can win over skeptical fans remains to be seen. For those curious, a comprehensive list of the top 25 fighting games for iOS and Android is available for comparison.
