LGD Gaming Malaysia Triumphs at Honor of Kings Invitational Series 2

LGD Gaming Malaysia has emerged victorious at the Honor of Kings Invitational Series 2, securing the championship title and a substantial portion of the $300,000 prize pool after defeating Team Secret in the grand finals. This win also earns them a coveted spot at the Honor of Kings Invitational Midseason tournament, part of the Esports World Cup in Saudi Arabia this August. They'll compete against twelve other international teams for further glory and prize money.

Expansion into Southeast Asia

Beyond this significant victory, Honor of Kings is making waves with the announcement of a new Southeast Asia Championship. This initiative underscores the game's global ambitions and its potential to become a dominant force in competitive mobile gaming, especially considering Riot Games' reduced presence in the APAC and SEA regions.

The mobile MOBA, already immensely popular in China, is poised to capture a significant share of the competitive gaming market in Southeast Asia.
