Kingdom Come Deliverance 2: A Closer Look at Village Life and Recent Controversy

Warhorse Studios continues to unveil new facets of Kingdom Come Deliverance 2, focusing this time on the diverse activities available within the game's villages. Players will take on the role of Indřich (Henry), engaging in a range of activities including drinking, shepherding, archery (both crossbow and longbow), prayer, hunting, and assisting villagers with their problems – even tasks as specific as finding antidotes for the injured.

Kingdom Come Deliverance 2's release is slated for February 4, 2025.

However, the game has recently become the target of online activism. Following the discovery of certain in-game content, a campaign emerged to cancel the game's development. Figures like Grummz and other activists, described as "agenda-driven," have spearheaded this public effort.

Speculation surrounding the inclusion of specific content and "progressive" themes intensified after news of the game's ban in Saudi Arabia circulated online. This fueled social media attacks against the developers, leading to calls for the game's cancellation and a boycott of its funding.

In response to these controversies, Warhorse Studios' PR manager, Tobias Stolz-Zwilling, urged the public to trust the developers and to critically evaluate online information before accepting it as fact.
