LEGO has announced nine exciting new Star Wars sets launching May 1, 2025 as part of Disney's May the 4th (Star Wars Day) celebrations. Traditionally, LEGO marks this occasion by introducing a new Ultimate Collector Series Starship - previously featuring Luke's X-Wing Starfighter in 2023 and the TIE Interceptor in 2024.

This year's flagship set is Jango Fett's Firespray Starship - known to longtime fans as Slave I (available at LEGO Store). The name change, implemented in 2021 at Disney's request (confirmed by LEGO), appears permanent following concerns about brand association with the term 'slave'.

The new 2,970-piece set represents a massive upgrade from the 1,007-piece 2019 version, depicting the ship from Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones rather than The Empire Strikes Back. Measuring 7.5"H × 17.5"L × 15.5"W, this nearly tripled piece count delivers unprecedented detail.
