Liam Hemsworth Debuts as Geralt in 'The Witcher' Season 5 Set Photos
The White Wolf is making his final stand. Production for the much-anticipated fifth and final season of *The Witcher* is currently in full swing, and fans have been treated to new set photos featuring Liam Hemsworth as the iconic Geralt de Rivia. These seemingly leaked images, courtesy of the dedicated Witcher fan site Redanian Intelligence, showcase the *Hunger Games* star donning Geralt's signature long blonde hair and full costume. Alongside Hemsworth, familiar faces such as Meng'er Zhang as Milva and Joey Batey as Jaskier, who joined the series during Henry Cavill's tenure, are also spotted. Hemsworth was officially announced as Cavill's replacement for Season 4 and the concluding Season 5 back in October 2022.

In addition to the returning cast, set photos reveal new characters joining the fray in Season 4, who are set to have significant roles in the final season. Among them is the legendary actor Laurence Fishburne, known for his role in *Morbius*, who will portray Emiel Reigs.
These leaked images have sparked speculation among fans that Season 5 might draw inspiration from Andrzej Sapkowski’s *Tower of the Swallow*, particularly the scenes involving Geralt's encounter with beekeepers who guide him toward druids. However, with Season 4 still awaiting release, the narrative could take any number of turns, leaving plenty of room for surprises and developments before the series concludes.
Cavill's departure isn't the only change the series is undergoing. Kim Bodnia, who played Geralt’s father figure and mentor Vesemir, will not return for Season 4 due to scheduling conflicts. Netflix has yet to announce Bodnia's replacement for the role, and there's still no official release date set for Season 4.
