Marvel Rivals Reveals Mister Fantastic Gameplay
Marvel Rivals Season 1: Mister Fantastic and the Fantastic Four Arrive
Marvel Rivals is gearing up for its Season 1 launch, "Eternal Night Falls," on January 10th at 1 AM PST, and NetEase Games has unveiled a first look at Mister Fantastic in action. The highly anticipated hero will utilize his intellect to combat Dracula, driving the game's narrative forward.
The debut of the Fantastic Four is confirmed for Season 1, though not simultaneously. Mister Fantastic and the Invisible Woman will be available at launch, with Human Torch and The Thing expected to join the roster approximately six to seven weeks later. NetEase Games plans to release significant updates midway through each three-month season.
Gameplay footage showcases Mister Fantastic's unique abilities. He uses his elastic powers for both offensive and defensive maneuvers, stretching to punch opponents, simultaneously grabbing and slamming enemies, and even inflating his physique for powerful blows reminiscent of the Hulk. His ultimate ability involves a repeated aerial slam attack, similar to The Winter Soldier's style. Speculation exists regarding a potential Season 1 bonus tied to the Fantastic Four's arrival.

Leaked information suggests the Human Torch's abilities will involve flame-based area control and the potential for devastating fire tornadoes in conjunction with Storm. The Thing is rumored to be a Vanguard class character, though his abilities remain undisclosed.
While rumors circulated about Blade and Ultron's inclusion, NetEase Games confirmed that the Fantastic Four will be the sole characters debuting in Season 1, pushing potential additions like Ultron to Season 2 or beyond. The absence of Blade, a notable Dracula adversary, has also surprised some players. Despite this, the anticipation for Season 1's launch and future content remains high amongst the Marvel Rivals community.
