Marvel Rivals Reveals New Skin for Mister Fantastic
Marvel Rivals Unveils "The Maker," a New Mister Fantastic Skin
Get ready for a villainous twist! Marvel Rivals has dropped a sneak peek of a brand-new skin for Mister Fantastic: The Maker. This sinister alternate version of Reed Richards will debut alongside the hero himself on January 10th with the launch of Season 1.
Season 1: Eternal Night Falls promises a massive update, including a fresh game mode, new maps, and more. The Maker skin, a dark reflection of the Ultimate timeline's Reed Richards, showcases a villainous transformation. The design features a sleek black and gray suit, accented by a glowing blue circle on the chest and back, and a slate-colored mask concealing most of his face, a result of injuries sustained in a battle with the Human Torch. He's not alone in his villainous makeover; Invisible Woman will also receive a dark counterpart, Malice.
The official Marvel Rivals Twitter account confirmed The Maker skin, highlighting its stylish black and gray aesthetic and the blue visor integrated into the mask. Gameplay footage shows the suit's dynamic properties, expanding and contracting as Mister Fantastic utilizes his abilities.
Beyond The Maker… More Skins on the Horizon!
While NetEase Games continues its steady stream of skin reveals, data miners have uncovered even more unreleased cosmetics. A Lunar New Year skin for Spider-Man is among the leaked finds, hinting at future additions. Cosmetics for Hulk, Scarlet Witch, and Doctor Strange have also surfaced. While release dates remain unconfirmed, many fans speculate these skins might appear in the Season 1 battle pass.
Season 1: A Night of Changes
NetEase Games has been busy announcing upcoming changes for Marvel Rivals. Season 1 introduces "Doom Match," a chaotic 8-12 player free-for-all where the top 50% emerge victorious. Expect character balance adjustments as well, with buffs and nerfs applied to the existing roster. The addition of new maps, including a dark, shadowed version of New York City, has also generated significant excitement within the community. With such a substantial content drop, anticipation for Season 1: Eternal Night Falls is at an all-time high.
