Marvel Rivals Season 1 Maps Revealed
Marvel Rivals Season 1: A New York City Nightscape of Maps
Marvel Rivals' first season continues to expand its content, introducing new heroes, cosmetics, and, most excitingly, several new maps themed around a nocturnal New York City. Let's explore each map arriving in Season 1.
Empire of Eternal Night: Midtown
Launching alongside the season, this Convoy map sets the stage for payload-style gameplay. Players either escort or defend a moving vehicle across a dark, Dracula's Blood Moon-lit Midtown Manhattan. This is the third Convoy map in Rivals, joining Yggsgard: Yggdrasill Path and Tokyo 2099: Spider-Islands. Iconic Marvel and real-world locations populate the map, including:
- Baxter Building
- Grand Central Terminal
- Stark/Avengers Tower
- Fisk Tower
- Ardmore’s Bookstore
- Timely Trend
Empire of Eternal Night: The Mystical Sanctum Santorum
Doctor Strange's Sanctum Santorum receives the Empire of Eternal Night treatment, exclusively hosting the Doom Match mode. This free-for-all deathmatch pits heroes and villains against each other for survival and leaderboard dominance. Top players earn wins, with the best receiving MVP honors. The map faithfully recreates the mystical mansion, complete with hidden secrets, impossible architecture, portals, and even a visitable Bats the Ghost Dog.
Empire of Eternal Night: Central Park
Expected in the latter half of Season 1, this map features a stylized Belvedere Castle as its centerpiece. This iconic structure, perched atop one of Central Park's highest points, provides a fitting Gothic backdrop for Dracula's nocturnal activities within the game's version of the park.
These are all the new maps currently confirmed for Marvel Rivals Season 1. Stay tuned for further updates!
