Marvel Rivals Season 1: Hero Stats Reveal Top Performers and Underdogs

NetEase has released the first month's hero statistics for Marvel Rivals, highlighting top picks and win rates across Quickplay and Competitive modes. The data reveals player favorites and potential balance adjustments ahead of the highly anticipated Season 1 launch on January 10th.

Jeff the Land Shark reigns supreme in Quickplay popularity on both PC and console, solidifying his status as a fan favorite. However, Mantis unexpectedly claims the top spot for win rate across all platforms and game modes, boasting over a 50% win rate in both Quickplay (56%) and Competitive (55%). Other high-performing heroes include Loki, Hela, and Adam Warlock.

The competitive landscape shows a different picture, with Cloak & Dagger leading the charge for console players and Luna Snow dominating on PC.

Marvel Rivals: Most Popular Heroes

  • Quickplay (PC & Console): Jeff the Land Shark
  • Competitive (Console): Cloak & Dagger
  • Competitive (PC): Luna Snow

Conversely, Storm, a Duelist character, struggles with incredibly low pick rates (1.66% in Quickplay and a mere 0.69% in Competitive), largely due to player feedback regarding her damage and gameplay. However, NetEase has announced significant buffs for Storm in Season 1, potentially altering her standing considerably. The arrival of the Fantastic Four in Season 1 will also likely impact the meta.

The Season 1 update, including the Fantastic Four (Mister Fantastic and Invisible Woman initially, followed by The Human Torch and The Thing), promises to shake up the Marvel Rivals roster and drastically alter these statistics.
