Mastering Support in Marvel Rivals: A Tier List of Strategist Characters

Best Strategist in Marvel Rivals
| Rank | Hero |
|---|---|
| S | Mantis and Luna Snow |
| A | Adam Warlock and Cloak & Dagger |
| B | Jeff the Land Shark, Loki, and Rocket Raccoon |
S Tier

Mantis excels at healing and buffing allies. Her orb-based system, regenerating automatically or replenished via headshots, allows for consistent damage boosts and self-healing. While fragile, her effectiveness scales with headshot accuracy, making her accessible to both beginners and skilled players.
Luna Snow, another top-tier strategist, offers a blend of healing and offensive capabilities. Her Ice Art enhances both, and her AoE Ultimate, Fate of Both Worlds, provides adaptable support through healing or damage. Her straightforward gameplay makes her ideal for new players. However, her damage output remains secondary to her support role.
A Tier

Adam Warlock's standout ability is his multi-teammate revive. His Quantum Zone Ultimate brings back fallen allies with temporary invincibility, even allowing for multiple revives of the same character. Combined with his healing and damage-sharing Soul Bond, he provides robust support.
Cloak & Dagger offers a flexible approach. Cloak's attacks can heal or damage, providing self-sustain, while Dagger focuses on damage and enemy debuffs. Dagger’s Dark Teleportation provides crucial ally mobility and invisibility.
B Tier

Jeff the Land Shark, despite popularity, has weaker healing compared to higher-tier characters, hindering performance in extended battles. His simplicity makes him beginner-friendly, but his limited kit pales in comparison to others.
Loki’s effectiveness hinges heavily on player skill and strategy. His healing and decoy summoning require precise positioning to maximize impact. His unique Ultimate allows shapeshifting into other heroes, but mastering this ability is key.
Rocket Raccoon prioritizes utility and damage over pure healing. He can revive allies with his Respawn Machine and delivers significant damage, blurring the line between support and DPS. His effectiveness depends on player skill, and his small size makes him a vulnerable target.
Ultimately, the best support character depends on individual preference and playstyle. This tier list serves as a guide, but fun should always be the primary factor in your hero selection.
Marvel Rivals is available on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC.
